We were tasked recently with cleaning this set of dining room chairs that over the years had become deeply and heavily stained with food residue, spilt drink, oil from food and body oil too.
They had got to the point were the customers grandchildren refused to sit on them as they were in such a sorry state. It’s safe to say in this case the Spills were multipying! So, what do we do with these Beauty Stool dropouts?
The customer had attempted to clean them before but once those cleaning products had dried the chemical is rejected and the stains reappear on the fabric.
Firstly the fabric was treated with a heavy degreasing agent sprayed all over the material and left to dwell for several minutes.
Next the fibre and cleaning chemical is agitated with a rotary drill brush which lifts the fibre allowing the chemical to soak deep into the base of the fabric. Then it is dry steam vacuumed to ensure all chemical residue is gone.
This process is then repeated again to be doubly sure there is no residue left. Dry vacuumed again, and the frames wiped down so no residue of any kind is left on the structure.
As you can see from the photos these chairs look brand new and definitely the ones that you want. Mr Lightyear even popped in to check the work and he was buzzing!
